Welcome to the Realm Surfing RPG! This is a play-by-post role-playing message board, where you surf through the various realms. The Realm Hub is the meeting-place where all portals meet, which lies in a black-void, with a resting area. You start there before you surf through the realms.
The realms are alternate universes, which have their own unique characteristics and they have their own laws of physics. It can be as simple as being in a 2D video game, or it can be as complex as changing genders upon entry into the realm. You make up the rules for your realm, your universe is for you to construct!
There are public realms, which nobody owns that can be entered without permission, but any members may donate their own realms for use in role-play by starting their own topic. Then there are private realms, which are owned by the thread's creator, and you must ask permission first before entering these realms. Every member is encouraged to make their own private realms.
Then there are battle realms, where all battles take place. ALL battles must take place in the battle realms, no exceptions! You will be transported to the Battle Realm when ready. All participating members make their own rules and stipulations.
You can be in many different realms all at once, as this is meant to be a constant role-play, without having to be dependent upon your location. You may go through the Realm Hub if you wish, but it is unnecessary, but you do have to enter the realm in the realm's thread.
You play as yourself or your own character, just get out there and have fun! Now go play!
